Within the EIT Climate-KIC accelerator model, boot camps are an important mean to strengthen the start-ups’ sustainable business models and to develop the international cleantech start-up-community.
A common theme throughout the boot camps is the importance of knowledge creation through collaborative work.

17th – 18th September 2020

This year, the International Boot Camp (IBC) of the EIT Climate-KIC RIS Accelerator will take place from the 17th until the 18th of September with Provadis Hochschule virtually.

In total, we expect around 110 participants from 53 different start-ups from 11 Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) countries including Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia, and also further guests.

A common theme throughout the IBC is the importance of knowledge creation through collaborative work. Therefore, the digital IBC is dedicated to create a pan-European start-up community, unfold synergies between the RIS start-ups and to create a joint spirit at the beginning of the programme. The participating start-ups will learn how to further define and validate their sustainable business models and how to get investor ready to scale-up their promising solutions.

Provadis Hochschule is located in Frankfurt, a central location for international companies from various industries, especially the financial, manufacturing and chemical industries. In addition to the valuable Peer2Peer Matchmaking, we will also use our contacts there and beyond this year for exchanges between the start-ups and companies and potential investors. The Center for Industry and Sustainability at Provadis Hochschule connects RIS start-ups with relevant stakeholders who could help them to successfully expand their business. Conversely, companies can draw inspiration from it as to what new solutions for relevant issues might look like in the first place or in a different way. Learning from each other is a road in both directions.
